It’s already a month into 2022!
We’re thrilled to introduce our readers to our February 2022 newsletter! We release our monthly newsletter in print, email, and right here on the blog. In this edition, we’re focusing on the buyers. Several of our segments, including our main article, Tips From The Experts, and, of course, Buyer’s Tip, focus on ways for buyers to improve their buying power. In our main article, we explored Credit Karma vs Annual Credit Report: Which is Better? The short answer? Neither! Both are great options for tracking credit scores. In that same vein, we have our Buyer’s Tip, which includes several tips for improving credit scores for buyers, so they can improve their buying power. An improved credit score will mean much better interest rates, and ultimately, much better monthly mortgage payments. Speaking of interest rates and monthly payments, in our Tips From The Experts, we break down monthly mortgage payments with consideration towards rising interest rates, and what that means as rates get closer to 4.0%.
Switching to our homeowners, we gave tips for winterizing their home for the harsh Chicago winter that we’re in the midst of. Don’t fret if you haven’t winterized yet. It’s still better late than never! Read our winterization tips here, and learn how to get a FREE weatherization kit from Nicor Gas.
